1. A List of reputed Ambulance fabricators who have done similar type of ambulance fabrication jobs in the past for prestigious clients like Indian Army, Apollo Hospital, AIIM etc.

2. An Expert from Medical Fraternity who will act as a consultant for this project whose job profile should be as under:

(i) To indentify and vet the recommended list of Medical Equipment to be installed in the proposed Ambulance of Advanced Life Support.

(ii) To Co-ordinate and act as a significant link between Medical Equipment Supplier and Ambulance Fabricator.

(iii) To supervise and inspect the installation & commissioning of medical equipment inside the Ambulance Van at Fabricator’s site and submit the inspection certificate for satisfactory installation.

He has got an excellent interpersonal skills and proved his this very quality at RGIPT by motivating, encouraging and uniting colleagues and down the line employees time to time for exerting best efforts to give maximum productivity at work place. He has been seen as a challenge lover person. He always enjoys doing challenging nature of work and also encouraging others to do so. He had ,no doubt,been a motivating icon for the colleagues and sub-ordinates. He never complained for overwork, was always remained to be a cool person and even found to be unshaken in the most pressing and adverse situations in the work front in the Institute. He is truly a soft spoken person,owner of god gifted charismatic personality.His some of these prominent personal qualities attracted almost everybody to be curious to engage themselves in the discussions with him, be it a professional or otherwise.

As the old adage, at this moment, best fits to say for him that "Change is only unchanging thing in this changing world" and I believe, probably every human beings in the world, obeys nature's this very standard principle at one or other point of time in life. Today is his turn and tomorrow will of others definitely from among us, or one of ours, one by one, everyone has to follow the suit, sooner or later.

So this is goodbye to Mr.Vinil Pant. You have been my wonderful colleague as well as a good friend here. Of course, you will be my friend forever.

Today, I have a mixed feeling for you. On one hand, I am happy to learn that you have got an opportunity to choose better prospects for your career development, be it in the form of starting your own venture or acquiring a higher position in the industry you are attached with. Sad, on the other hand, for being leaving us. Whatever is the reason, I will definitely miss you.

One way or the other, you have had quite an impact on this place. You gave this Institute your professional expertise for close to 01 year, although, for a quite brief period, still, your contribution in making almost 100% successful placement of first graduating batch of RGIPT, certainly,can not be forgotten. It was really altogether a different experience being working in a Government Institution at Rae Bareli as Asst. Executive Engineer (Electrical). It was my first experience for working in a government environment. I am now 42 years old and thought that it was good to work close to my native SATNA. This will help in taking care of my parent.

Late Sitting at Office: Profit or Loss

A goal is a dream that has an ending. This famous line had been quoted by Mr. Duke Ellington who was a well known Afro-American composer, group band leader and a pianist. His real name was Edward Kennedy Ellington who was born at Washington DC in USA in the year 1899. He died in 1974 at the age of 75. He won many awards during his life time for his outstanding work in music industry in America.

To achieve a goal, we may have to plan the whole activities in many steps and usually each step corresponds to the next step, till the final step, when we achieve our intended goal. So from conceptualization, to plan, to implement, and to monitor each of the steps in the process, to reach to a successful achievement; we have to invest our precious resources in terms of time, money and our own hard consistent efforts without the loss of our enthusiasm.

Therefore, from start to finish, a goal pursuer keeps striving to achieve his goal. During this crucial period, he always keeps reminding himself about his goal to stay focused. This way, the goal actually rests in his mind like a dream, and when he achieves it; his goal arrives truly to a happy ending. So, in my opinion, Mr. Duke Ellington must have definitely something similar to this thought in his mind when he said, "goal is a dream that has an ending." I believe goal is a strong desire to achieve something worthwhile that has essentially an element to make a difference in improving people's quality of life. It offers an immense satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment to goal achievers.

Every genuine goal has four basic attributes like; it fixes the purpose, it sets the direction, and it sticks to focus to achieve the same. But at the same time, it also poses challenges, involves risks, seeks sacrifices and calls for a real hard work from those who’ve determined to pursue it. Every goal has an ending, whether it ends with a successful achievement or with the failure without fulfilling it. But, unless a goal ends with a successful achievement, it remains a dream in the minds of those who're pursuing it. So one should always keep continue with the efforts towards his goal until he has achieved it.

Mr. Geoffrey F. Abert, who, although, gave us a very inspiring quote about the goal and said, "The most important thing about having goals is having one." But I feel this popular quote is missing a critical element which requires to be added with that missing element. So it should now be read like, “The most important thing about having goals is having one at a time". As people may have multiple goals at different stages of their lives. With this improvement, they could focus on one goal at a time, and then follow another, only after they’ve achieved their previous ones.

So those who had set their goals and achieved the same, not necessarily they had achieved these in their first attempts, instead they might have made multiple attempts and had faced with many failures before they actually achieved their goals to success.

We may aware about the famous Japanese proverb that "Fall seven times, stand up eight". This quote clearly encourages and tells us that we should not loose our hope so easily while making our efforts to achieve our goals. We should always keep motivation and enthusiasm level necessarily high because these elements are keys to success. A popular quote by Winston Churchill that "Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm", and another one, in the same context, from Mr. Henry ford that "a setback is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently", suggest clearly to all of us that we should never give up our goals, instead we should keep on our attempts till these have achieved and concluded with an positive ending.

As Mr. Harrison Ford, rightly said, "The force is within you, force yourself". It gives us enough hints that we should use the true force which is lying within us, to achieve our desired goals. With regard to the setting of goals, Mr. Andrew Carnegie had said, "If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes."

If we wish to have our goal achieved with a successful ending in a reasonable time frame, then, Mr. Stephen A. Brennan, had quoted correctly in this context and said, "Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success."

My Favorite:

Reading good books on self help and motivation, watching bollybood flicks, listening Indian music and often prefer hangouts at new places.

Always like the people who're open and speak to their mind, I believe this is a good notion to have a soul searching and brainstorming chatting session with friends of around my age. A deep urge coupled with an excitement to know more to unknown, makes the journey even the more interesting and long lasting. Partners share and elicit maximum treasure of thoughts about their life's good/bad experiences especially when the two are virtually connected, not knowing each other physically. They feel more secure and express themselves freely as chatting being the best platform available for exchanging their true feelings with someone they know who is listening to and responding to, even when knowing they're anonymous and stay at a distance. Very Simple!!!!!

My Motto:

To live life with full of passion by having a great fun with the like-minded friends, yet, in an ethical, honest and responsible way. Whatever you do, whatever you talk, whatever your status, whatever you think, and no matter how much you're rich and popular. But one thing is for 100% sure that Life has been given once by the almighty, that to, too short. It should be lived in a way that no regrets follow in future whenever you look back after some years from now.

Irritated By:

The people who're deceptive, liar and of snobby nature. Such people are no where in my wish-list. I always avoid interacting such people and surely searching an escape-route if mistakably I encounter them in life.

Plans in life under way:

[PhD]-I've gained all the fundamental expertise required to be as a PhD scholar, towards this, I've even conducted online search for a few research buddies so as I could discuss, exchange and share views on the chosen research topic in management field and stay motivated being in touch with them as well.

It's all about me and my personality traits

A man with full of passion yet humble, kind and passionate, who keeps a positive outlook towards life just like millions of other human beings do, an avid reader and an aspiring writer.

A man who loves to live life peacefully who has always been eager and interested to explore the life in a more meaningful and broader ways by sharing and exchanging views across the all like-minded friends, especially those who persistently strive to investigate to identify themselves first, and evaluate how much they give to the society by offering their services based on their own skills and abilities, and in return, how much they expect from the society.

Because I believe the "expectation of returns" in life is what has made the most of the problems in balancing one's life today. In such a situation, I think, an effort to develop one's own skill to control and balance the 'expectations of returns' in life can solve our most of the problems permanently. After all life is precious yet dynamic, should be lived fullest by everyone with lots of fun.

Who stopped me in my writing endeavor-An effort to identify the true factors?

1. A diminishing balance of savings i.e. a continuously drying up of saved fund is pushing me in the ditches of frustrations and despairs, making my creative mind in a complete unstable state, not knowing on what activities to focus on for survival in forthcoming months.

2. Instead of saving I strongly feel that I’m now badly stuck in quicksand of debt and it seems that it will only worsen with the passes of time. So before it engulf my life completely, I've to take immediate robust and corrective step to bring back it again on track.

3. Once I plunged and completely submersed myself in to the writing world, nobody should disturb me till I get a success. A demand of 15 days peaceful time to test myself. A fear that people will let me down if I could not manage the success during this test time.

4. All the resources have already been identified and kept reserved for utilization as and when required. Expenses towards managing accessibility of resources have also been allocated. But I’m not as much confident to expend money on this count as one should.

5. Procrastination in putting true hard effort on the writing Endeavour, fearing failure, only with the lost time and money.

A Write-up on why I consider myself as a most suitable candidate for the advertised position

Madhya Pradesh is my home state; I belong to its SATNA-district, approximate 550 KM away from Bhopal-Capital city. So I’m familiar with its geography, customs, local culture and local dialect. Since I am having more than 17 years experience in different industries which include current 04 years experience in Administration department of a university , handling the multifarious jobs involving planning, organizing and executing the tasks effectively and efficiently with the optimal use of resources. I also familiar with finance and accounting, budgeting, petty cash-purchases from imprested accounts for a day to day needs towards the facility services, my job profile also involves detailing the scope of work to vendors, getting quotes for work and recommending for award of work after proper negotiation on cost and quality parameters of desired work. I am an ardent advocate of education, and strongly believe that the 100% literacy in the state will help in alleviating the poverty in different sections of society, so it should be the mission of every state or country to achieve.

I am a 40 year old, matured, born in April, 1968, a First class Graduate Electrical Engineer of 1990 batch from Government Engineering College, Rewa (MP) and an MBA, majored in financial management with First class and a good grade, in the year 2005 from IGNOU, New Delhi. Apart from the above, I also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM) in 1999 from IGNOU.

In today’s era, in a state or a country, especially the developing country like India, the Education has become only the means of future survival for its citizens. In my view a good education gives the birth to an effective and progressive society and it offers its citizens hoards of opportunities for a dignified living. Education provides inner peace to human beings. It gives an opportunity to better understand the things happening around us. Education is an imperishable stock one possesses which offers a kind of freedom; more use of it enhances the stock. It gives freedom of thinking. It has tremendous capacity to enlighten masses. It helps countries to become an economically developed, with its educated citizens and their contributions to the country’s economy. Education teaches the followers a lesson to be compassionate and be stay away from non-social activities. Education teaches the followers the true purpose of life: “Live and let Live”. The simple definition of life that it propagates, in my conviction, is “Give and take’.

“Education for all” should be the every country’s states’ slogan to implement in a true spirit for the achievement of an overall peaceful and progressive society world over.

I believe I possess the personal qualities as under:

• Extravert, an Impressive personality and have the knack of handling multitude of responsibilities well.

• A good communicator and have an excellent counseling skill.

• Explorative, talkative and enthusiastic as well as innovative and adaptable.

1. First of all read the document electronically. If it seems positive in your perspective then take a print out and read it a few more times, at least 3-4 times and understand all the requirements that you need to and can fill.

2. Make prior research as much as possible to collect all the materials needed for writing that paper. Also you may make your own rough outlines as to how you will approach to take up the project on offer. Once it is over you may move to the next step.

3. Keep ready at least 3-4 online library resources for research materials.

4. Now you bid for that project and ensure before hand that you will have sufficient time for researching and writing on the topics chosen.

5. Browse your university’s library’s online resources and make habit to stay after 6 PM for a minimum an hour to see physical resource available in the resource center.

6. If possible make at least two-three research scholars as your friend to have constant touch to live with others' inspiration to stay motivated.

My Brief Profile & View about a Good Writing Piece

I am a 40 year old, born in April, 1968, a First class Graduate Electrical Engineer of 1990 batch from Government Engineering College, Rewa (MP) and an MBA, majored in financial management with First class and a good grade, in the year 2005 from IGNOU, New Delhi. Apart from the above, I also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM) in 1999 from IGNOU.

In my view a good piece of writing refers to an effective and logical presentation of consistent information on any given subject or topic, that flow in a simple, interesting and coherent way which, of course, should have, not only the capacity to engage the readers but also keep them curious and impatient to read further, until they finish reading the whole piece of writing. The writer’s success largely depends on the satisfaction level of its readers. It happens only when the readers intuitively if not explicitly thank to the writer/author for presenting that piece of writing they read, enjoyed and truly got something knowledgeable they were searching for. The reader must feel that he has got something in exchange of time he devoted to read the given piece of writing.

A Glimpse of My Professional Life: A Dignified Exit from a Trapped Situation

It was winter of year 1997 when I had joined a new organization as a department head of the Electrical section. I was really excited to face new people, new organizational culture and a new job responsibility. I was quite satisfied with the salary package and position offered. These were perhaps the chief reasons for my excitement on this new venture. The most important part of this assignment was to having the challenging nature of job. I was in my early thirties, full of youth, passionate enough to take risks, and was fond of doing the challenging jobs. I had always a wish to live life the way I desire and wanted to have a total control in my personal interests. I had also a dream to earn money, as much as I can, to achieve my financial freedom, and to set myself free to do what I like most in life. I had always high thoughts in life, so, was putting steadily my best efforts to achieve the same. My life had been filled with full of enjoyment, not for being a newly married but also for having an interesting and challenging nature of job in hand. I used to go often on long drives with my wife in the weekends and was visiting new places. My wife had equally enjoyed those particular moments of life so much so she even today often recalls those events of life.

I had been provided a fully furnished family accommodation by the company in a close vicinity of the factory. The factory was located alongside the Arabian Seashore in the western part of India, and it was 7 KM far from the Jamnagar City of Gujarat state. I was hired by the company especially to complete the electrical project of a salt refinery process plant having the designed production capacity of 450 MT per day. Unaware about the top leadership’s philosophy concerning to this organization’s work culture and employees’ relations, I realized that, to carry out entrusted responsibilities, I would have to first evolve the electrical department on my own. So my job started from recruiting the new technical hands, mostly fresher, for the department. My initial prime challenge was to recruit fresher and to train them so that they could contribute effectively in project activities. The recruitment of fresher was the part of company’s policy to save on the labor cost. Soon, I became completely busy with my responsibilities and was doing 12 hours duty almost daily against the 08 hours normal, although my superior never insisted me to do the extra hours duty. It was all my sheer passion to complete the project well before the given scheduled period.

I had been constantly receiving pats and lip services from my superiors for the good performance, and also, for the project progress being on scheduled time. And such encouragement and appreciation were continued throughout the project execution stage. Finally, the most awaited day arrived when project had reached to its final stage of completion. The Project was completed in 14 months, 04 months ahead of its original schedule. After completion of erection and installation work of Plant, all the efforts had been focused towards the preparation of plant’s commissioning and within two weeks, entire plant’s equipments and machineries were successfully commissioned. In the very next week, the plant was put into the operation and had been brought into its full production capacity, with the parallel running of its normal trial and error activities on product quality control front.

Now it was time for celebrations by the entire project team of approximately 80 people who had faced the long ordeal of almost one and half year, to see this day of success. But soon after this, contrary to the expectations, unaware about the other members of the project team, I realized that my superiors, instead of congratulating me for the contribution made in the project success, they started ignoring and acted towards clipping my powers / authorization / privileges which I had been enjoying throughout the project stage. Looking to such sudden change in their behaviors, I guessed, they sensed my expectations for pay raise and promotion which I was actually deserved. The other staff members, who were recruited for production department, had no significant roles in contributing to project activities, got hefty hikes in their pay packets across the board. The exclusion of my name from the salary increment list had made me completely off and then- I had virtually left my interest to work with the company.

I had a strong feeling that I was badly used and cheated. Although, I had protested for injustice made to me with the Vice president who was then the factory head and final authority of the company. But my all arguments were proved to be futile and could not yield any positive outcome in my favor.

Looking to this adamant attitude of management, I had decided to quit the job and search for other job. But it was not an easy affair, particularly, for this group of companies. As I had seen personally, in various instances in the past, that many employees who, when left or even planned to left this company, were harassed in numerous ways like to stop their monthly salary, not to sanction their leave requests, to prune their given privileges, unnecessary firing them by superiors on silly reasons, asking them to stay on duty on overtime in odd hours, to curtail their facilities offered in the company’s township etc.
All the credits for good work had fallen into the laps of Plant Manager and he got immediate promotion to the position of senior Plant Manager and a raise of 25% in pay packets at one go; Despite the fact that Plant Manager was absent from his duty for a quite long period, for about 06 months, during the crucial stage of project due to his illness.
The Factory Head was keeping track and was monitoring on all personal activities of employees who were living in the company’s township. For this, he had developed a culture over the period of time by roping close links with the old, loyal and lower level employees, such that they would feed him the information regularly. The Company had a leasehold coastal land of about 2000 acres of area being used for the natural salt production, and the township of company was built in a small stretch, located on this land. The most of township residents especially the newly joined employees had the odd feelings about this isolated location, and often they termed it as “an open prison”. As the road leading to main city from this location was extremely dilapidated, rough and full of ditches, and city was 07 km far. So to access city environment was not easy. Employees were used to visit the city mostly in weekends for needed domestic purchases.

In this way the majority of employees residing at the company’s township had a strong feeling that they are living a captive and slave life due to conservative attitude of factory head. Since my financial standing was not sound enough, so my relocation to city was not possible. I had always a fear running in mind about the consequences if caught in any such personal activity which was against to the company’s wish, like trying to get the job in other company or attending the job interviews. Despite this I desperately wanted to quit the job to join the other company. So, to overcome from this trapped situation, I planned a personal project of 06 months duration and pursued its each step decisively and effectively.

And following steps had been planned to realize the successful completion of the personal project.
1. The relocation from company’s residence near factory to a private residence at city.
2. To arrange for extra financial resources to meet the city living expenses.
3. To arrange for new conveyance facility to commute reliably to attend duty.

To meet the necessary requirements stated above, first I applied for a personal loan from a private bank for INR 100000. Since the company had categorically refused to entertain any type of my loan requests. Fortunately, my loan request in the bank went through and it had got sanctioned within 02 weeks of the application date. On hearing this, for a moment, it felt me like that my dream of getting free from this company was inching closer to the reality. This way I had crossed my first hurdle and shifted quickly to city in a rented house. After relocating at city residence, I was able to completely shield-off myself from leaking information about my personal activities to the township employees who were the main source for passing the information to factory head. Now the township employees-especially those who were informers, were completely isolated and they had no clues about my personal moves. I was truly feeling a sigh of relief by this favorable development.

Soon after I started applying for the job in a big way, approximately 30-40 applications in a month, and was frequently making outstation visits for the job interviews. My fortune finally favored, within the span of 03 months, I got three lucrative offers; all with the almost double pay packets compared to what was my then salary package in this company. However, by this time, company authority had sensed about my intentions, consequently, they had triggered initial cold actions against me like not to sanction my leave requests, holding the payments citing unjustified reasons, scrutinizing my past work related activities and criticizing etc. Having spent close to 05 years in this company, I was fully prepared and aware about possible repercussions of such nature. Since during this time I had gone on leave for 03 days and had resumed my duty on 5th day. The leave extension of 02 days was not approved. Although, the Production manager of the company had tried to contact me on my mobile phone during this leave extension period but I had not picked up the phone intentionally. This way, I had given the enough reasons to the company to be called by the factory head for reprimanding me in the name of discussion. Since, I had been just waiting for an opportune time to put in my papers. Incidentally, the flashing situation to confront face to face was ready.

On the 5th day when I resumed my duty, the moment factory head entered his office, first phone call on that day he made to me and asked politely in a controlled way, could you please come to my office?. I said; yes sir, “I was just waiting for you, I am coming”. And I had swiftly reached to his office with my full preparation. He began his talk slowly and within a minute, his voice changed in to a full shouting mode. By the time, the senior plant manager, Accounts manager and other senior staff members of the company had gathered at the office of factory head. And before factory head would utter anything further, I stopped him, and said; “why are you wasting your precious time and energy? I don’t need you and your company. I am resigning from my position and this is my resignation letter,” and swiftly had put in my papers on his table. On saying this; all of sudden, the whole full charged and heightened atmosphere of the office had dramatically changed in to a pin drop silence. All executives were taken aback by my surprise move. Soon the situation was brought down to the normal by an effective and timely intervention of the other executives present there.

And as expected, at the end of 30days notice period, company relieved me amicably from the services and then- I joined another new job in new location happily. And that new job is the same where I am working today.

On the whole, moral of the story is; I had faced the problem independently, lived with it, searched the solution and got the solution ultimately. Finally I relieved from the bad situation all with upholding my personal dignity. Otherwise I had been 1500 miles away from my native place; no one was there who knew me. I was a stranger for this new location and there were no hopes of any kind of help, financial or others, to deal with such a difficult situation. Interestingly, I, neither then nor even today, discussed this matter with my parents who were living at my native place.

Even today when I recall this entire episode, it gives me a great sense of satisfaction for being successful on overcoming such an odd situation in my life independently.

Almost all of us are familiar with the famous adage that “a healthy mind lives in a healthy body”. This very well known quote is practically proven since time immemorial and fully accepted especially among the health conscious people world wide. If a sound and healthy body is the basic necessity to have a sound mind, then naturally our efforts should be focused to remain healthy and fit. To do so we require a regular exercise to achieve the goal. Different people use different methods to do the exercise. Some use meditation and a few others use physical exercises like morning walk, joining the Gym classes etc. but the majority of people prefer sport as a regular exercise.

There are obvious advantages of choosing sport as a regular exercise.

1. Any sport usually involves people grouped in two teams and the game is being played between them. In the competition, one team is declared won while other team has to accept defeat. Sometimes the game end up with a tie or declared draw. This way, team members not only get the opportunity for exercises but also gain popularity, fame and financial rewards.
2. The sport inculcates and develops a competitive spirit in the minds of participants which acts as a life long asset to them and this also develops in them a much needed courage to face the problems and get over it, for their rest of life.

Why I Want to Write: Hopes and Ambitions for Future

I have been staying 1500 miles away from my native place for 16 years. When I left my native home first time, I had a dream, which seemed possible then, that I would earn enough money in next 10 years, by taking up jobs away from home town, to be able to begin a small independent business at my native place and live with my parents happily there. I had also even planned to renovate my ancestral house and make available all the basic facilities there for a family of five.
I have done six job switchovers in my sixteen years of career. The monetary gains in every job switchovers were just enough to compensate the contemporary inflationary pressure on the cost of living, leaving no room for me to save money for future. When I look my financial position today, I find myself in the same place where I was in 16 years back.
But not very far, just three years back, in the year 2005, when I saw first time a print advertisement of “writers Bureau “in a news paper, I felt a ray of hope for financial freedom. I gave no second thought and immediately subscribed for one of its courses. Although my preoccupation in some other projects then, could not allow me to pursue the course seriously. However, now I have decided to complete this course with full of dedication and devotion.
My hope with this course is to hone my writing skills to a publishable standard and my ambition is to adopt this writing art as my full time profession and make it the main source of income over the period of time, working from native home.

My Real Interview Dilemma

Instead of preparing for the interview, I'd been thinking and writing on some interesting title which can be used as a book title somewhere in near future. And the title popped up in my mind was "How to face the interview board confidently for sure success even when a little or no preparation made in advance?"

Now come to the point, please listen my situation about the Interview preparation which I'm hesistantly revealing you hereunder.

Just take my example I have got an interview call from IIT Kanpur last week for the position of Executive Engineer (Electrical) to be held at their campus on March 18, 2009 (Wednesday). Now hardly 03 days left for the actual interview date yet I’ve not started a serious preparation for it, may be because I’m still not very clear about the true reason for my slackness for this interview.

I guess this could be due to the fact that there would be no immediate announcement of results by the authorities even after giving them a very good and satisfying interview. Plus since this is my second instance of attending the same interview for the same post and for the same employer which in fact I took it a year ago. I believe all of this has had a substantial effect on dampening my passion for this interview.

Report about My first Visit to Kanpur on August 18,2008

I started off from Gandhinagar in the evening at 7.30PM on August 18, 2008, to catch the Sabarmati-Express Train, the scheduled departure of which was 8.50 PM. My wife had a missing feeling while mine was departing from her, to move on to Kanpur for attending an Interview for the post of Executive Engineer (Electrical) at IIT Kanpur, which was scheduled to be held on 20.08.2008. My son, yashraj, at that moment, was watching television with his friends. He took least interest in paying attention to me at the time I was leaving home for Kanpur.

As soon as I boarded on the train at 8.45 PM, my friend Mr. Bhatia Ji had called me on my cell-phone to confirm whether or not I reached the Ahmedabad Railway station safely. As there strong rumors were making rounds that some violence had erupted after a clash between two alien groups and was spreading rapidly in kalupur railway station area and it was very likely to declare this area as a tense and sensitive by the district administration.

My wife had, too, having some unknown fear after hearing this news and was stressed on thinking about my safety. Perhaps because of this, she had called me up on phone at least 3-4 times between the times I left home to the time I reached the Railway station. And every time she suggested me to be cautious while on way to Railway station. Amidst all the rumors and confusions, I finally occupied my berth timely and comfortably and informed accordingly to my both the well wishers, my wife and my friend.

But soon after as I tried to take my seat, I realized that a middle aged lady patient had been sitting in my berth and the man who accompanied her started requesting me to interchange the berth between Lower to middle. Mine had a lower berth and I was not willing to interchange. But I had to surrender after that man’s persistent requests and looking to the patient’s miserable condition. Although, later I felt cheated, as this so called patient after getting my berth, started exhibiting perfectly healthy symptoms and was frequently moving around to her seat and also inside the train compartment, and showing no sign of patient alike now. In fact she was perfectly normal and healthy; she had done all this just to create a ground to convince me so that she could interchange her berth with mine simply for more her travel comfort and convenience.

Now the most interesting fact about this interview was that right from early in the morning till just last 15 minutes before my departure from home to Kanpur, I felt no serious interest in attending the interview. I couldn’t even know as to why such weird thoughts had crept in my mind. I was trying to identify the true reasons for such awkward feelings at the last moment.

It took me a while to figure out exact causes; however, somehow I managed to discover that following could be the chief reasons for my distractions and non-interest for this interview.

1. The fear of unknown and the great demand of intellectual rigors from the Interviewers.
2. A fear of not able to get as much positive and conductive environment, if selected, as I’m currently enjoying being in present organization.
3. Not foreseeing a substantial gain in terms of money.
4. The fear of shifting location with family from Ahmedabad.
5. A fear of losing the competitive environment so far enjoyed being in Ahmedabad.
6. The Distance & Time factor- A fear of losing precious time and money in a complete uncertain situation after encountering a bad experience recently during an interview at IIM Ahmedabad.
7. A feeling of sheer disturbance in currently being pursued target-the writing.
8. A feeling of highly entangled and trapped in the current mesh of developed odd situations.
9. A fear of losing a decent Air-conditioned office equipped with 24 hours Internet facilities, STD phone and official mobile phone.
10. The fear of leaving family alone for 04 days and losing credibility in the eyes of management.

Despite all this in back of mind, I had been strongly waiting for a solid point to pop-up in mind till reaching to the Kanpur to finally become positive to the extent that I could attend the interview seriously.

After a while, the following points as given below had suddenly been popped up in my mind to cheer up to some extent, if selected.

1. Proximity to the Home Town and more time for parents and relatives.
2. Enhanced status due to impressive and better designation being in a secured Govt. job.
3. Good and affordable child’s education.
4. Family will get opportunity to mix with local home culture, thereby less family stress.
5. Job security.
6. The flexible working environment.
7. Class-1 Group-A post.
8. Availability of management books library to pursue research writing work.
9. Availability of stress-free campus accommodation.
10. Able to renovate the ancestral house at home town.

A Self Criticism on My Writing Efforts

I don’t know why I feel so much weak when it comes to writing, while the situation is not as worse when it weighs against my verbal communication in which I’m truly feel freak.
I believe there could be these two chief reasons that drove me towards such weird thinking about my writing ambition.
1. Usually when thoughts are verbally communicated, lots of errors-grammatical or otherwise can easily be hid in the guise of speed during the speech normally been maintained by a speaker.
2. When it comes to write, you need to put each and every word structured and so carefully chosen that no one can challenge you. And even keeping in mind and not ignoring, the proper use of commas and punctuations in your sentences, is considered to be one of the key skills for any upcoming writers wishing writing success in the shortest possible time, such skill should necessarily be possessed by them.

All-in-all I can say based on my present experience, that I need really a great deal of writing practice, at least one hour daily without fail, and the support of an expert guide, to reach the 360 degree of writing art. Because a lot of gaps in learning the language, I sense, still needed to be filled before embarking on submission process of my work/writing assignment for checking. The achievement of my error free writing may take another one year to perfect the art provided I continue with the same level of efforts as I put on right now.

Present Unbiased Assessment from the experts about My Writing:

(A) So far you are only able to write the understandable prose.
(B) You are not able to write an error-free paragraph and even unable to figure out the errors on your own which is more serious.
